The Axis Story
Crafting Quality Campervans Since 2015
Axis Vehicles was founded on a simple idea: adventure vans should make getting outside easier, not more complicated.
What began in 2015 as a need for dependable, durable vans for an outdoor rental fleet eventually grew into Axis Vehicle Outfitters — a Hood River, Oregon-based campervan builder focused on practical design, quality craftsmanship, and long-term reliability.
After years of seeing what worked in the real world, one thing became clear: many campervans are overbuilt. They may look impressive at first glance, but they are often heavy, crowded, difficult to maintain, and packed with features most people rarely use.
Axis took a different approach.
