A Gorge-Ready Campervan for Every Season

Our most recent Revolver build was created for a local couple who embody the Gorge lifestyle—rafting, guiding, fishing, skiing, and embracing the outdoors year-round. They needed a van as adaptable as they are, one that could carry rafts, gear, and provisions for all four seasons of adventure. The Revolver delivered, providing both rugged functionality and the comfort to recharge between excursions.

Custom Touches That Stand Out

This customer wanted a bright, functional interior—and bamboo cabinetry brought warmth and light into the space. Extra L-track and Aspen Frontier Loft Lockers create flexible storage for soft-sided bags, coolers, and gear. To match the rugged demands of their lifestyle, they upgraded their suspension with the Stage 4 Topo 2.0 lift kit and adjustable high-clearance lower control arm by Van Compass.

This upgrade enhances handling, stability, and performance with:

• 2” taller stance for larger tires and smoother terrain handling

• Improved clearance for approach and departure angles

• Falcon 3.3 adjustable shocks with 10 firmness settings

• Reduced wind sway and cornering roll

• Better control over rough roads and broken pavement

This Revolver isn’t just comfortable—it’s ready for serious backcountry terrain.

Interior Comforts for Four-Season Travel

The interior is equally impressive, designed to keep this couple fueled and comfortable no matter the conditions. A spacious kitchen counter offers room for a cooking stove, meal prep, or spreading out gear at the end of the day. Ten gallons of onboard water with quick-disconnect lines makes winterizing a breeze—done in less than 30 seconds.

Power comes from a 270Ah Battle Born battery, charged via solar, alternator while driving, or shore power. A built-in heater ensures warmth during the coldest months, and doubles as a fan for drying gear in the PNW’s wetter seasons. It’s the perfect balance of off-grid capability and everyday usability.

Gear Storage Built for Adventure

This versatile campervan build was engineered around gear-hauling freedom. The roof rack provides space for large rafts, while custom interior storage keeps their equipment secure and accessible. The rear platform doubles as a removable shelf with custom cut-outs, making it easy to tie down bulky items. Both the upper and lower beds feature integrated L-track, so duffel bags, coolers, and gear can be hung or strapped in safely.

Even better, the beds and seat can be completely removed, transforming the van into a full garage ready to haul dirt bikes, oversized gear, or any toys their adventures demand.

The Revolver Difference

Unlike standard campervans, the Revolver is designed to minimize hassle. You never need to move one thing to get to another. Lightweight, agile, and highly adaptable, this layout is built for true off-grid living. With Axis Vans, less is always more—less time rearranging gear, more time out doing what you love: hunting, fishing, skiing, rafting, or simply exploring.
